Blinkers On - and you won't find it in your program

If they are going to allow horses to run with equipment changes that aren't in the FORM, why does anybody announce the changes ahead of time?

Wire job by Dutrow trained Salzburg in the 7th at AQU pays $14.80.

Yes I know it's my fault for not checking for "changes" but is this not a real issue or am I just whining? Don't answer Pillow because I know your answer already.

I feel like if you don't pay attention to the changes you are asking for trouble.

That being said, if Rajiv Mafraud knew how to ride, the favorite would have won that race. Apparently he hadn't seen any races so far today.

But Bruce Levine has. And he's a college grad. Doesn't it make sense that he would have Maragh gun it and not give up the wood?

Well, he continues to ride this proven incompetent.

It was listed on the changes, because I saw it on there and used in youbet's contest race today... unfortunately I'm in 2nd place... and they only pay the winner.

Yes...while it is listed on the NYRA site, which I noticed after the fact, it is not listed here on DRF... http://www.drf.com/changes/07/cAQU07.html

directs you to the NYRA site for the "complete list of changes"...

again, I realize for the most part I am the schmuck here, but I still think it is very wrong for horses to run with "changes" that are not in the program and FORM...stuff like Pads and Bar Shoes are a constant afterthought but the Blinkers On really drives me crazy, especially on the Inner Merry Go Round at Aqueduct...

True. So maybe he needs to give back his diploma.

You can get burned by late changes. Especially the blinkers on/off. Fool me once shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me.
