Adieu

She wins. Was tested a little by Amandatude. Amandatude got a great ride by Rose but Adieu and Johnny was just too good. And you got 5/2 on this horse. The 4 horse Hystericalady was the 4/5 favorite.

Man do I hate this filly. Every time I play her, she runs like ****. Everytime I dont, she steps up and runs well. Oh well...

I dont think she ran all that well today even though she won. There wasnt much in the race for such a nice purse. But I do not bet whatever race she is in because I, like you, cant figure her out.

I hear ya. She runs well as a juvenile but puts up very slow figures for graded stakes. I figure she's the type that just gives as much as necessary for the win but doesnt run huge numbers, so I bet her in the BC Juvy Fillies. She's 7th. I play against her first time back at Churchill and she runs the race of her life when 2nd in the La Troienne, so I figure that Pletcher really has her figured out and she is a lot better this year, so I use her in the Acorn and she flops. Then she wins today, good thing I didnt bet this race as I'm sure I'd have used her underneath only...

She's just slow. Simple and plain.

She did not look slow to me in the Spinaway last year.
She is a puzzle to me though too. I played her in the BC last year and got burned, and I still have no idea what her best distance is. She won a G1 at 8f in the slop last year, but sometimes it seems like she can't run a step beyond 6f. Tough one to figure. Hopefully they retire her soon and she can stop screwing us all up.

Last year's 2-year-old fillies were pathetic. She's slow, and always will be.

After yesterday, you can add Deputy Glitters to the list of horses that does this to me too.
