Super Bowl commercials

seems like every year we're saying
"these aren't up to par - these ain't good"

less than mildly entertaining.

didn't expect the guy in the rat suit to attack Dorito guy but didn't laugh

then you'll be glad to know that you aren't missing much

btw

if I cared I would hope the Patriots lose since they were cheating against m Stl Rams. Nevermind the spying.. they were showing highlights from all the superbowls and I almost forgot about all the defensive holding and cheap shots the Pats got away with

Petty and the Heartbreakers still sound good.

One funny aspect of the Shaq-VM ad was that I think they were calling the horse 'Chunk of Love'... who is a knockaround in NY. Thought it was great that the commercial used racing and am anxious to read/hear reactions.

The 2nd half ads seemed better than the 1st half ads, though the Budwieser and Bud Light spots stood out early and most of the night. The Clydesdale-Rocky piece was very good, as was the Wine/Cheese ad and the hybrid Bud Light/'Semi Pro' movie promo with Will Farrell. The E-Trade talking baby was very good. Taco Bell late in the game and the Planters ad with the girl using cashews as perfume too...

The Fed Ex pigeon commercial wasn't bad.

The only consistently clever funny and creative commercials on TV today are the ESPN commercials which are the standard for 30 second comedy today. The Superbowl is nowhere in the same zipcode with 4 letter U.
