Joe's wife Patti lost her long battle with cancer on Friday Feb 1.
Joe and Patti started Sportsman Stable. Take time out in the next few days to offer a good thought or a prayer to Joe and his family.

So sorry to hear that Stall Mucker. Patti and Joe have done alot for NY racing and for smaller investors looking to get in the game.
Patti was a lovely lady, very gracious and kind. I feal terrible for Joe D. He is a great guy and has been through alot.

Sad news...been a fan of Joe D. picks during Saratoga on a local radio station in my area.

For those who have attended the Cap OTB Handicapping Challenge over the last few years, Joe D' was the guy at the BRIS table. He also runs the BRIS pedigree services desk at the Saratoga Yearling Sales.
He's a terrific handicapper and a great person. His energy and enthusiasm is wonderful. I know Patti shared his love of racing with him. I had the pleasure of sitting with her for races on occassion and she never had an unkind word.

Patti will be missed.

:( I am very sorry I could not be there to pay my respects to Patti. Joe D is a true horseman, who LOVES his horses and the game. The racetrack family has lost one of their own. We all need to remember Joe and Toni in our thoughts ,and prayers. Be strong Joe!,
