Tampa Trip - Limo/Van service?

In early phases of planning a Tampa Day trip for some of the NY contingent (one of KNS next races).

Jet Blue flights were very reasonable from JFK. ($100. Each way).

Anyway, does anyone know of a Limo/Van service they would reccomend for transport between Airport/Track. Or are we better off just grabbing a couple cabs? Hoping to get 5-6 guys together.

If anyone else from NY Metro is interested, let me know and I will keep you posted as to what we plan.

Obviously still need to wait for dates, coordinate with work, etc...

Thanks

Pmac:

You may actually be better renting a car for the day. My car on Tuesday was only $27. I believe John paid $40 for a cab one way.

Not a bad idea if we can designate a driver...which may be a challenge after 3 hours of breakfast drinks enroute from JFK to Tampa...

Thanks

Yo Pat,

When I called to see what the deal was, it was like $55 to the track from the airport, for a towncar. This was in the pre-stage of planning for that trip but I just couldn't make it work

Scav 02-01-2008 11:11 AM

Oh guys, we took a slight detour because I wanted to show Chuck and Willie the bright sights of Chicago, WE STILL got to where we needed to go. :)

Maybe we can coordinate flight times and book a Stretch Limo...that way you can maintain your image...

I am a no go as much as I want to go. Although rolling out of a stretch at the track sounds mighty enticing

The BEST traditional spring training stadium in Florida! I've been to every stadium in Florida and I think it's the best. Very close to the field and cozy. I highly recommend McKechnie Field this spring.
I'm going on St.Patty's day .

my $0.02.....
