Belmont 2nd Today

Mike Smith is suck an idoit....cost me over $220 for wrapping up his horse and not riding him out...Act of Contrition should have won by Mike Smith fell asleep...Mike Smith you owe me $220

Well, I bet over $220 on that horse and if you think Mike Smith wrapped up on that horse you did not watch the race carefully.

Tough beat, but with 5 lengths at the sixteenth pole yer supposed to win.

I was kinda fond of his ride....LOL...the 2 winning gave me a $5 DD.

He may not have been 'wrapped up,' but he was on cruise control for several strides... smith started hitting his horse again when it was too late.

I guess I tired of blaming riders every time I lose a bet.

Zippy I hear what you're saying, and I think there's truth to what you posted, but I don't believe Smith ( who I have always thought was an atrocious rider ) cost the horse the race. He never stopped riding and I just don't think anything he did caused the horse to slow down. The sad truth, at least for me, is that he got beat after looking home free.

I guarantee there will be tougher beats.

Bet him in the 9th tomorrow and you will get your money back.

I'm not trying to place blame.. or take away a good win by the other horse. Really, I could understand Smith must of thought he was home free.. can't blame him for that.. I thought he was too.
