Golf is one amazing sport. You have guys bombing at Q-school who where Ryder Cuppers (C.Riley) and tour winners and top 30 golfers (begay) not even close to making the tour. Then players like Stricker all of sudden contend again after being awful(by comparison) for a few years. Is this unpredictability what draws us to the sport and also makes us crazy?

It in between the ears bro.

updated leaderboard....good to see Old Dominion alum Jimmy McGovern playing well. Like to see him back on tour after some years of struggling.

I usually try to watch on the final day(put up or shut up....get card or get drinkin.')LICKLIME IS SICK N' THE HEAD.If he had the head to match his game, then he would have 10-20 mil more dolla, and have some to give to Chuck to buy horses (so Chucky get his Grade 1.)

Kev,do you remember this Bowditch guy? He won,and maybe came 2nd in some tournaments in Australia. It was enough dough(co-sanctioned tournaments on Nationwide tour) to get on the PGA Tour. Then I jinxed him by saying he would win some dog poop tournament late in the year.He dove into empty pool.Diagnosed with clinical depression, and hasn't regained form of early 2005.He starts final round of New Zealand Open today in 2nd place.I hope he shoots 63.My guess is closer to 80.Took 8 on a par 5 yesterday.Australian John Daly, but this guy can really putt. What do you think he will shoot?

Heck yeah I remember him. Had no idea he had the depression thing going on. The demons will get him today...75 at best.

Yeah, even when coming 1st and 2nd, he was sloppy n' gambling.Somebody with depression would have trouble concentrating for 4 rounds. He did have trouble concentrating. He would give up a lot of shots due to impatience and lack of concentration, but get them back by putting real well(and gambling with driver.)Was freakshow from the start.Would like to see him and Hale Irwin play together.Hale would shake that head back n' forth the whole 18 holes.

SCUDSBROTHER 12-01-2007 11:19 PM

Looks like the top 2 both shot par=72.I've never seen that before. They started -14,and -11,and ended that way.-11 good enough for t2 for Bowditch. They don't give them much there.Aussies and Kiwis are cheap for sure.I think he gets about 86 thousand U.S.DOLLARS for T2.It's good for a mental patient.

SCUDSBROTHER 12-03-2007 02:16 PM

Looks like Notah Begay is done, huh?Maybe he'll be giving lessons at a Indian Resort Casino Golf Course.Atleast he can get into a few tournaments with past champion status....Tommy(2-glove) Gainney "FEELING IT" coming home.Got to hold on..LOL

My boy Merrick birdies the final hole to get his card again...good for him.

SCUDSBROTHER 12-03-2007 10:04 PM

Tommy Gainney gunna look like a factory worker on the tour all year.LOL..Those two gloves sure stand out, huh.
