Tomorrow's 5th is off the turf but the 1st remains on as long as there is no rain between now and then.

I'm hoping they're on the turf on Friday. . . I love System Restore in the 6th

Wasted so much time handicapping today's card. I also really liked Ichabad Crane (1st time starter in 4th) but decided to watch because of Muddy track. Added insult to injury...

Yup. . . and the dam was a g3 winner with a few 3rd place finishes in G1s. . .

I remember her dam well. I believe she was undefeated going into the Shuvee and finished a distant third to Inside Information and Sky Beauty. A very distant third.

I also don't believe she ever raced on the grass.

You may have kicked yourself when he won but considering when this race was carded on the day last week that they cancelled, and Motion scratched, it was reasonable to be scared. Plus, he was completely dead on the board.

I wasted a lot of time as well.....and made one bet. I wasn't particularly pleased when Introspect blew second.
