But... Im acutally younger than you. I was 9, in 1968.
Guess I stuck with the old technology longer.

8 tracks sounded so crappy... I needed the needle.

I did. :o

You know, when In Through The Outdoor first came out.. I was sooo disappointed. I thought "ok, when will it rock?" Now that I am OLD. I do not mind it so much.

I will always remember my cousin going all the way to Chicago to see Led Zeppelin. He knew something was wrong when they did a 40 min version of No Quarter. Aparently Jimmy Page was too strung out on heroin to play.

They stopped the show and rescheduled. The rest of the story goes something like Robert Plant's kid died and then John Bonham died and the concert never did happen. He drove all the way to Chicago to get the refund of his ticket. Spent a fortune in gas to do it.

Years later they found my cousin dead with a near empty bottle of vodka next to his bed.

My favorite Zeppelin album is Physical Graffiti.
