#2 Oregon is going down

As predicted on "The Herd", Thursday night on ESPN is where ranked team go to die.

Scav 11-15-2007 09:46 PM

Be fair, Dixon went out in the 1st quarter. Leaf is like his brother, brutal

ALostTexan 11-15-2007 09:49 PM

Sucks that I am located less than 1 mile from the game yet I cannot be there. Work really gets in the way of a life...

I would think not. Ryan Leaf was actually a "Great" college quarterback. He encountered problems in the NFL...not the PAC 10.

Nothing to be fair about. You gotta have depth if you are going to win a NC.

ddthetide 11-16-2007 05:32 AM

karma bites oregon. their o-line was on with jim rome last week and called their shot. "we'll see everyone in the national championship game". good-bye to the heisman trophy too.

I don't know which is more funny, that statement or your signature.

IF Kansas even gets past a ridiculously overrated Missouri team then they will get rocked in the Big 12 championship game. IF they somehow came through both of those by some miracle they would lose to LSU by at least five TDs.

You're really covering yourself on this one, eh?

He might as well just change "Jayhawks taking it all this year!" to "Chekhov will be HOY in 2008!" since both have the same chance of happening.

Anything can happen and has happened this season. LSU is not guaranteed a spot in the championship game. They are suspect.

brianwspencer 11-16-2007 10:00 AM

Damnit.

I predict an Oklahoma/Arizona State national championship game.

West Virginia loses to Cincinnati.
Ohio State loses to Michigan
Kansas loses to Missouri or Oklahoma
Missouri loses to Kansas or Oklahoma
LSU loses SEC championship game
Arizona State beats USC and Arizona
Oklahoma beats Missouri/Kansas in Big 12 championship.

The Bid 11-19-2007 12:37 AM

HOC, you have a long way to go to be Pillow Pants.

ALostTexan 11-25-2007 10:37 PM

The Wildcats nearly knocked off another highly-ranked team tonight, at least in basketball, which is the real sport in Tucson. Took Kansas to OT in Lawrence. Not a bad job tonight...
