This really isn't threadworthy. I said some things that were harsh. I don't regret it...but I feel this isn't the place to share my thoughts.

I'd really appreciate it if this thread was removed out of respect to Jose Santos, his family, friends, fans, and the victims of this senseless tragedy.

well thats how fuc'd up the judicial system can be, you can kill somebody drunk or on drugs or plead insanity and get off light.......7 years only??????? also why is she not also charged for driving with no DL? my prayers go out to both families

I believe the aggravated offense is driving with more than twice the legal limit in your system.

No question a sad story. This is something the young lady will have to live with the rest of her life. No Liscense is bad enough, but throw the drinking in makes for a recipe for disaster, which obviously happened here. A wise mentor of mine once said.."nothing good happens after midnight" and I'll tell you as a 19 year member of a fire department for the most part, that's a true statement.
