Asmussen will not appeal suspension
 

This is sort of a surprise to me. But I figure he knew he wasnt going to win so he decided to serve the 6 month suspension now so he can be back training before 2007. According to the article in Bloodhorse, Blasi is taking over.

he did the same thing about a year ago. A minor one maybe a month.For all dissing him and calling him a cheat. He usually takes his lumps and goes on. I think he has to be one of the most honest and stand-up guys in the bussiness. Of course Im just a fan of the sport and do not know him personally. I dont even think my great aunts friend once knew his baby sitter.

Well he might also be suspended in New Mexico as well. They havent held a hearing on that issue. But he might have to serve back to back suspensions.
