Larry Jones on ATRAB

Tonight at 5:30pm we'll have Larry Jones on ATRAB for the first time.. I've been wanting to get him since Hello Liberty's great Acorn try, and after Wildcat Bettie B's exciting Prioress win, we've got him!

A self-taught trainer, Jones was an owner who got frustrated with his trainer and thought he could do it better himself! From Hopkinsville, KY, Jones made the move to Delaware with his 50 head this year after visiting there with Island Sand in last year's Del Cap...

He'll be bringing Hello Liberty and possibly Bettie B to the Test Stakes here in Toga, and looks to me to be a guy on the rise in a big way!

Join us on Sirius 125 or at attheracesandbeyond.com for Jones, Doug O'Neill on Lava Man and much more!!

Tell him Island Sand owes JTOTHE some cake.

Excellent. I wonder if he will put both horses in the Test. I know Wildcat beat Hello Liberty earlier and was super impressive at 6F this weekend but Hello Liberty looks like the 7F Test is her distance. Both have been very impressive.

He owns a piece of Hello Liberty too so I wonder if he puts Wildcat Bettie B in against her.

I love the cowboy hat. Nice change from these big trainers and their Armani suits.

Tell him he cost me a fortune Saturday.

My friend made a fortune on him Saturday. I would have made a few dollars too but I just had an obligation that kept me away from betting the race. Hello Liberty cost me a few though in her last, but I didn't mind losing because she put in a great effort against Bushfire. What are the odds of having potentially two star 3yr old fillies in the same barn. Pretty impressive.
