Out of Control will score if Baze covers him up early. He made the lead too soon in his Del Mar races.

Let's see,,,,,,,,,,, We have a short feild at equal weights on Santa Anita's turf and you think these horses are going to beat Lava Man at home?

The Bid 10-05-2007 08:29 AM

There are 3 of the top ten sprinters in the country in that race, according to the experts on the TVG Speed Zone.

Get Funky

letswastemoney 10-05-2007 10:32 AM

Hystericalady seems like a lock.

Indian Charlie 10-05-2007 12:14 PM

as does idiot proof.

King Glorious 10-05-2007 03:13 PM

Would love to see Surf Cat wear down Lava Man at the wire and go on to win the BC Mile on turf ala War Chant.

Bordonaro has found a field and track that he can wire.

letswastemoney 10-05-2007 07:06 PM

Hmm who do people like for 2nd in the Secret? Bai and Bai? Tough Tiz's Sis? I'll probably do an exacta with Hystericalady on top with those two on the bottom.

bordonaro has as much chance of wiring this field as johar did in the bc turf a few years ago.

Chuck can update us on Greg's Gold' chances. He knows about that one.

goingtothewhip 10-07-2007 12:50 AM

I love Greg's Gold and did well playing him at Del Mar in the Pat O'Brien (7f) and underneath In Summation in the Bing (6f)..

I think the surface and the distance in the Ancient Title play against him. Bordonaro or maybe even Idiot Proof win and GG will be a close second.

letswastemoney 10-07-2007 04:51 PM

Well there goes my lock. Congrats to Tough Tiz's Sis :( :(

ShadowRoll 10-07-2007 05:22 PM

Ouch..."did not fire."

Hoist Her Flag 10-07-2007 05:24 PM

The California Milers are tough

Another excellent race, Zann, Outta Control and Courtnall usually put up some pretty interesting fights on the turf. Lava Man? Didn't play him but thought he would have some fight. Very good race just like Tiago and Awesome Gem last week. Same with Tough Tizs Sis running down Hysterical Lady. I'm not betting this weekend, taking my notes for the Breeders Cup. But close competitive races.

2Hot4TV 10-07-2007 05:24 PM

I hope the foolish owners of Lava Man dont ship him to the Breeders Cup.

Surf Cat looked rank into the first turn
Lava Man doesn't appear interested in running anymore
