"Skill Slots" At Beulah Are Up And Running

LMFAO to the poor suckers who put money into these gimmicks. Close to 200 machines up and operational. You put your money in and choose between 2 "skill" games. Once you choose it automatically goes to close to max credits, so you have to scale down your amount. Then, once you hit play it spins the three reels. Once the three reels stop, you have to "nudge" one line up or down. They are 5 cent machine with a minimum bet of 5 credits, hence a 25 cent spin. poor payouts, etc etc.. Word has it they are tight, tight. Plus they look ancient but the one good thing is they make no noise.

So, how long before they increase the purse struture for the Horsemen?

This will never happen because Strickland is going after them. I can only say that if they shut them down at the tracks they MUST shut them down everywhere. I remember them at bars and even a Christian school out in Newark (pronounced NERK if you are from around there). Only fair that they are shut down everywhere.

I sincerely hope that the tracks in Ohio can survive. I am not that worried about the Harness tracks, but the thoroughbred tracks need some help...

Looks like for now the tracks have won a small battle as a judge has said that the state is wrong for banning these machines. Going to be a long fight, though...
