How long until Notre Dame wins?

I'm going with 0-10, Navy and Air Force are just too good for them. I think they'll finally get a win against Duke in triple overtime.

It's an awful looking game to bet but why can't ND win vs Mich this week with Henne out?

The Mich. Defense allready said... "" No way we will lose THIS week ""... It could be a long day for the young QB .

What's interesting to me is that the two teams ND has been defeated by are both ranked very high in both the AP and USA Today polls.

The question then becomes, has Notre Dame simply been dominated by two legit Top 15 teams, or are Penn State and Georgia Tech enjoying high marks from pollsters because they have beaten up on at least one patsy.

I am no ND fan, but personally I think they get a win against one of the Michigan schools. If not, they could give Purdue a scare, even in Lafayette, as the Boilermakers could be pondering a Week 6 primetime matchup against Ohio State.

At absolute worst, ND grabs their first W on 11/3 against Navy.

nd's defense played much better this past week against psu, they've got no help. are psu and gt top 15 teams? i'd say no. they are abit above average but by no means outstanding teams. psu and gt are rewarded by the pollster because the drilled nd.
IF nd doesn't beat purdue or mich st. they won't win a game until navy and af and don't hold your breath that they can beat either one of them. by that time of the season that nd defense could be so beat up, they won't be able to stop those option attacks.

Having been born and raised on the south side of Chicago in the heart of the 'Notre Dame experience', I can tell you from experience that if ND starts out 0-3, a terse call from the Vatican will let Charlie Weiss know that since the Pope keeps getting killed on his parlay card each week with his Lutheran bookie, Weiss is banned from sneaking off to Krispy Kreme with the leprechan until further notice.

The Charlie Weis to replace Tom Coughlin ideas here in NY have been very quiet the last 2 weeks

ND will not beat Michigan State.

The Giants will only take Weis if he brings the ND defense with him. It has to be a package deal!

I think they'll 3-9 after it's all said and done, and that's IF Clausen can step into Quinns' shoes!

The Irish aren't as bad as some of you guys are making them out to be.

I thought they looked halfway decent, on the road, against the team I picked to take the Big 10 this year.

Good point DRUGS. I'm a ND fan, but a realistic fan at that. They did not look bad in the first half against PSU. Their defense is much better this year, however the offense as we can all see is very suspect. There is no comparing Clausen with Quinn. Right now, it's apples and oranges. Quinn could trust a running game and had good receivers to throw to. Clausen has neither. They will not beat Michigan, but they will get better as the season as the season progresses. It could be worse, look at Syracuse. There used to be a lot of Syracuse fans in Upstate, NY, but not any more. I still cheer them on, but man are they bad. Anyway, the rest of the college season should be quite interesting. LSU looks scary good. USC will get beat at some point even though their schedule is a joke.
