New stallion

There is a bidding war going on between Turkey, South Korea and India for his services.

I think he paid $18 in the Risen
a race absolutely had to fall apart for him to get there

He peaked in his maiden win, which was visually unbelievable

Cannon Shell 09-08-2007 08:05 PM

I think the thing that I will remember most about him was that he was called the "sale topper" at the Saratoga sale even though he was bought back by Mrs. Payson with Biancone serving as agent.

Hat Trick (Sunday Silence) is a new stallion in KY. HT raced in Japan.

miles2135 09-08-2007 08:10 PM

Can anyone tell me where I can see a replay of his maiden win? Or possibly post it on here.

The debut maiden win was on 8/14/04 where he came from last to first. Don't know where you can find the video

He's a nice looking one too... hope he does well. We need more sons of SS here IMO.

sumitas 09-08-2007 08:52 PM

Geesh, $15k stud fee is not impossible but not cheap either.

I would think that that price may be ......negotiable?

sumitas 09-08-2007 09:20 PM

Ahhh, I do have a mare in mind that suits him. Tx, CS, we'll remember that.

Don't you have a racereplays.com acct?

This was the horse I was referring to when I was talking about that crazy Ready's Echo at Saratoga this year.

philcski 09-09-2007 08:44 AM

The maiden win looked good, but in fact it was a complete phony of a race. No one else from that race went on to even win a MSW, if my records are accurate.

parsixfarms 09-09-2007 01:10 PM

I recall being at Saratoga that day and, if memory serves me correct, there were split divisions of 2YO maidens on that card, and Scipion's race was the slower of the two.
