Over the years, television coverage of the Travers has been affected by everything from women's golf to the Little League World Series. But this year, we are at the mercy of a brand new sport: High School Football. Yes, there is a weather delay in the game between Booker T. Washington H.S. (Florida) and Summerville (SC). The game won't restart until 3:15 EDT, and there is still over 6:00 to play in the 3rd quarter.

This could be a problem.

I say its 30/1 they stay with the game. Surely they'll pull it for the ponies.

This is a big day and certainly they have to know that.

i have lots of money in bets on grand slams and pick 3,6 and 6's and if espn leaves on high school football i will write a letter, as well as possibly go to bristol on monday to voice my complaints.

They just announced the football game is moving to ESPNU at 4pm.

This might be a first for ESPN.
