Bernardini question

does any one know if he has produced any offspring since his retirement?

thanks:)

Nope. The gestation period of Thoroughbred horses is 11 months. Since he would have covered his first mare around Valentine's Day, it'll be around 1/15/08 when the first baby hits the ground.

Of course, once he is a little older and wiser, he will wait until just AFTER Valentines Day to begin to cover mares. That way, there are no expensive gifts, and taking a mare out on Valentines Day is always a real beech.

Granted these guys will always get a little on the first date, and second, and usually third, so they really have it made anyway...

I would feel really used and cheap if I were a mare

if he turns out to be a better sire than doc cheney and hemingway's key i imagine we will be subjected to thousands of posts proclaiming him the greatest sire in the history of the universe.
