I actually think you will get right about that. Both Irridenscence and Royal Highness (Douglas won't shut up about her) are getting some talk around here. I am actually thinking I might get 5/2 on Honey Ryder, and if that is the case, goodbye RUBBERBAND, HELLO ARMORED TRUCK

Ramazutti

It seems to me like there is some value in Always First at 8/1. He closed into absolutely no pace and prevailed in his last start at Arlington, and really hasn't run a bad race since switching barns. EC is certainly the class of this field and the most likely winner, but Always First could be a good play at a price.

You have to love the logic of the connections though:
What do you do with a horse that has failed to hit the exacta in FOUR consecutive G3s? Well you stick him in a G1 of course!

By the way, here are the past performance: http://www.drf.com/row/pps/07sworddancer.pdf

Better Talk Now out of Sword Dancer
By DAVID GRENING
SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. - Better Talk Now was declared out of Saturday's Grade 1, $500,000 Sword Dancer Invitational at Saratoga due to an injury to his left front ankle, trainer Graham Motion said Friday.

His defection figures to leave English Channel a heavy favorite in the 1 1/2-mile turf race.

Motion said that Better Talk Now suffered a puncture wound to his left front ankle during the running of the United Nations Handicap at Monmouth Park, in which he finished third, three lengths behind English Channel.

Motion said he thought he had the issue under control until Friday morning when fluid began sweeping from the ankle. Motion said he had to put the gelding on antibiotics.

"It looks quite angry this morning, he's very tender on it," Motion said. "The timing is terrible."

Motion said that Better Talk Now would walk for two weeks and if the injury heals properly the horse could be pointed to the Man o' War on Sept. 8.

Thanks, hopefully they get the injury under control.

Really?? Other than TTM, whos is in there for him to duck? After Market is having a good year, but I still don't think he is in EC's league.
