Race is for 3+, but only 3's entered. Backups are Castellano and Dominguez in case Borel can't ride (off mounts today).

Why is Borel off mounts today? (I noticed he didn't have anything ...)

pmacdaddy 08-03-2007 01:52 PM

I can't get on Equibase right now.

Is it the 1st race? What post?

Thanks

OK..PP3...Race 1..Good luck DTers

Cannon Shell 08-03-2007 02:06 PM

Looking at the race now...not the toughest race ever carded at the Spa. A couple of maiden breakers, Neil Howards stretching out off of a 6 furlong win at CD, Dollase off of weak 2 turn race, Lost Etiquette has ok form, Marias kitty ran well over the winter...
Unless Bridgmohan sends coming out of sprints(a possibility) we look like the controlling speed. Pretty nice spot for 68k

Exactly, and if Borel rides we are going to get 1w1w so we are good to go.

You are correct, she is 3/1 ML favorite.

Riot 08-03-2007 06:13 PM

Steve Crist and Dave Grening are doing the handicapping Sunday morning at Siro's - BTW is saved from having to handicap our girl in public, in front of us all :D

Thank goodness it's the first race - I already have butterflies, I doubt I could make it to the 7th race if it were carded later in the day.

pgardn 08-03-2007 06:22 PM

Watching these girls I would say Lost Etiquette would be the most likely to give us problems. This horse looks to run quite often though and maybe we hold on at the wire due to spunk.

I did not get two see to of them run recently. I think the Maiden winners.

We are in a very good spot. Good show Mr. Simon.

Thunder Gulch 08-03-2007 06:41 PM

I think this is the one..nice purse. Hopefully we can get that morning line price on the board.

SniperSB23 08-03-2007 06:48 PM

Getting caught at the wire at Arlington may have been the best thing to happen to us. You will not find an easier spot for $68,000. Get er done Sumwon!

zippyneedsawin 08-03-2007 08:32 PM

Good luck to everyone, I'll be rooting for ya.

Any race is tough and this is no "easy" spot. Still I hope she wins and there are good reasons why this may be the race, not the least of which is the partnership mojo for her to get the job done.

Thanks to all that have made his possible and will be routing hard for our girl.

Scav's get the whip ready, and not too early.

Don't be so sure about that.....

There's a $73,500 N1X alw race, for fillies at one mile, on Sept 9th at the new Erie track.

Or....if she wins.....there's a $77K N2x alw race, for fillies at a mile and 70 yards on Sep 7th.

From the watching the replays and the styles of the opponents, this is the best spot we have landed so far imho.
