Nice job all the way around but HUGE ups on that shot in the 5th. On top 60$+ winner.

You know, I'm sort of upset with myself, because I didn't play anything. I looked it over last night and solidified my picks this morning. Every now and then I'll stop by the OTB on my way to work to place some bets during the week since I moved back to Chicago, but didn't bother to today -- no WAY did I think that 5th race winner could have gone off at 31/1. Incredible.

If the 3 in that race hadn't run third and crashed the super, I may very well have begun a lifelong mopefest, as I would have nailed the super COLD with a 60/1 (?) shot running fourth under the 31/1 winner without having bet a dollar on it.

Thanks for the encouragement from both of you though -- sometimes it's just good for me to cap a card without investment just to try to stay sharp during the week!

good cappin there Brian, it doesn't hurt to pick the card and not wager. keeps you sharp. and if you miss a big one? well there will always be big ones, your time will come.
