World Series of Poker (final table)

Kind of disappointing. I ordered this event to watch on PPV and they arent showing the hole cards.

ALostTexan 07-17-2007 08:40 PM

That totally sucks. I guess that security is a reason for it if it is live.

The Bid 07-17-2007 08:42 PM

I dont know what it is, I turned it off. Waste of 20 bucks.

You should have read this string:

"i think the ppv audience for 3000 entrants is the same as 15,000 entrants. i don't think anyone is going to think "not enough amateurs, i'm not buying the package".

my question is why anyone wants to buy a live broadcast of paint drying. it's not like they'll be showing hole cards on a live broadcast.

he raised. everyone folded. next hand. he raised. one guy called. there was a flop. he bet. the other guy folded. i'm so glad i got to see that live.

the tv popularity of hold'em exploded with the innovation of the "peek" mini cams. all the shows you watch are heavily edited and broadcast weeks or months after the actual event.

i'll be mowing my lawn next week. anyone interested in watching that on my webcam send me $1 and a pm. who knows? i could hit a rock."

I know it is a little late now, but check out pokernews.com. You can watch any or all of the hands from the final table. Pretty cool website. A friend of mine finished 547 and made a little cash. Hope that helps

You again.

I want a rematch.

This time I'll deal.

Oh wait, I don't have cards.

Can I borrow your special deck?

the only poker I watched on streaming video was when Hellmuth won 11, and it on a 1 hour delay for free on those webcast sites.
