Toga Question - Simucasting

What is the deal there? I have heard that you can only get like half the Del Mar card at Toga or something? This true? I know NY does not carry as many tracks as Illinois does but I looked for a simucast schedule and I couldn't find one

I'm an idiot, I found it on NYRA.com......

If I place one wager on that crap, feel free to punch me in the arm as much as possible.

I have never seen harness in person though, so maybe I will place ONE wager on a race to have a rooting interesting in a live harness event...Is it racing while we are there?

No dumbass...that is where you have to go to get the simulcast of other tracks after the main track closes.

Saratoga Harness...where the pizza is warm and the beer is warmer.

So they are not racing live or they are?

First time I was at Toga, I stayed after the races, was firing away at Del Mar and was stunned when they just closed all the windows.

Saratoga Harness is the place where my wife realized that I had a problem. We were at the Spa all day and then after dinner we went for a drive and passed Saratoga Harness (I swear by accident ;)). I said lets just go in for one race. Eight races later, we were on the way back to the hotel and she was not talking to me. The place reminded me of one of those Knights of Columbus Hall, but not as nice. This was before they had the slots. It is probably much nicer now, but then again that is not saying much.

The pool sizes at Saratoga Harness are so small it makes playing very tough IMO. Feels like you make a $50 Win bet and your horse goes from 5/1 to 2/1...

Joey...that place is incredibly comedy (to borrow a phrase from Scavs). I sill think I may owe Tim $1 for the buck I borrowed to buy a slice of pizza that bad been there since the day before.

Actually, you can bet the flats there as well.

If you are refering to betting the Spa while down the road at that glorified bingo parlor called Saratoga Harness, then that would be the equivalent of being at the Vatican and going to mass somewhere else!

hexy27 07-16-2007 07:49 PM

you can bet up to 7:00 pm but only inside the outside windows close after last race we bet a few delmar and arlington in advance
