So did they do anything? Seems like the horse got spooked when announcers changed from the one guy to the deeper voiced guy.

Also, can't believed the horse stayed in the race that long.

Thank God Eagle Mountain is okay.....

Hope poor Kieren is too. :(

i thought it was equal blame, both horses look like they were getting into each other. I would have not DQ'd the winner who looked much the best.

As far as waiting an hour on Inquiry.... it's the French, surprised the stewards just didn't waive the white flag and leave the grounds like the old days:rolleyes:

I agree. Can't possibly understand why it took an hour to sort it out. Should have taken no more than 5 minutes.

As far as the French in general, I wouldn't be too hard them. The one thing that they do very well is produce some very fine race horses and excellent horsemen/women.

And their racecourses are second to none. We have Saratoga as our "jewel" of racing, yet they have mid-level tracks that surpass Saratoga.

.

HK stewards debate into the night at times.....

It was Bastille Day yesterday.... not sticking up for them, only saying maybe a festive day over there contributed to whatever the reason(s) for the delay (?).

I get very annoyed when inquirys or objections aren't resolved within five minutes.

I couldn't imagine one lasting an hour.
