Thought that August 5th race @ the Spa would interest Chuck for Sumwon's next start.

Does that mean we may be able to see her work the previous week? Hope so.

Most likely...even if she doesn't race over the strip  , her works will be there.

Only 23 days till SWLY's next race!

Counting down until 8/5....

I hope she will not be running for a tag...otherwise I will be sick until I see her finish and go back to Chuck's barn. My poor heart and stomach can't take anymore. It is all I can do to get through her races, having to see if she is claimed would be cruel and unusual punishment

I have to admit, I have been carrying around the Saratoga condition book with Post It Flag on that race since the day the Book came out.... The prospect of us potentially going in that spot is just unreal for me. Hate to be corny, but almost seems meant to be. And it is T-Shirt Day...

Understanding that our Girl won't have to go in for a Tag, am I correct in reading that the optional $75K Claiming Price is open to 3YO's only?

I like the possibility of her next race being Sunday, Aug 5. I've got ownership in a NY-bred 3yr old also and his next targetted start looks to be that same day in an N1X going 5.5f.

Never had one run at Saratoga so 2 in one day would be a good reason to make the trip....:)

Yes, those that are four or older must fit the n1x or n2L condition.

I've never been to Saratoga, but I have a trip planned for Aug 10-12 for my first visit. However, it looks like I might be making a trip up for the 5th. Let's hope everything goes well.

Don't tell Ellis. They'd probably cancel the meet.

Low is not a strong enough word. Dismal maybe. Actually I almost always boycott Ellis.

In my opinion run a good horse over that track and they don't come back the same afterwards. But that is my opinion.
