LOL..Nick Hines term for Santa Anita.

Heard that the other day. Pretty funny.

They arent allowed to even utter the words santa anita on TVG are they? usually as shrupp says "a major southern california track"

nope, they never say the words Santa Anita. Track of the malls and mountains is a play on Hollywood since its called the track of the lakes and flowers.

I don't think they ever say churchill Downs either on TVG.

Its bizarre, I even heard them refer to the Kentucky Derby as a major race for three year olds in May.

Maybe they were talking about the Mongolian bareback Derby, its in May. I think you can stream it on Youtube.
