Not a big fan of discreet at 1-2 and the one looks like a solid value play at 6-1. Should be enough of an early pace that he should be able to sit off the pace on the rail. save ground and slip through on the rail near the wire.

Ran out of gas with about 100 yards left to get second but a valiant attempt. At least the place will pay because the 6 was nowhere close.

the favorite being close has nothing to do with what the place pays. . .

Sure it does the favorite wins, the place pays alot less. He was the biggest pool in the place pool so the favorite not hitting 1st or 2nd does make a diffrence. Sorry for the confusion if you read it wrong.
