10 Years Ago Today, Rockfest, Fort Worth
 

10 years ago today, I was at the Texas Motor Speedway north of Fort Worth, TX, for what was the largest ticketed concert to date (which has been surpassed since then). Rockfest, hosted by Blockbuster and some other sponsors, was quite a show.

Amazing cast of bands for their time period, including Bush, Counting Crows, Collective Soul, No Doubt, Matchbox 20, Paula Cole, The Wallflowers, and many, many others. Best part was the opening stage, with unheard of bands like Third Eye Blind, Sugar Ray, Duncan Sheik, etc.

This marks the 10 year anniversary of that concert, which was the summer after I graduated from high school out in West Texas. Anyone else on here part of the crowd of around 300,000 at the show?
