3 Other good Fillies

After Rags to Riches great win yesterday, I thought to myself was there any filly or mare as good in the world.. it's an extremely difficult question but I came up with a few other possibilities shown below..
Miss Andretti - won 3 G1 sprints this year in Australia giving weight and a beating to the colts..
Vodka - Destroyed the colts in the Japanese Derby, first filly for ages to do that. 4th favourite for the Arc and.
Finsceal Beo - was a head away from winning the three major 1000 Guineas races in Europe within the space of 3 weeks. She won the English and Irish, the English in track record time..

This is a question that we will never know the answer to, but it's a good one all the same.

Say Rags To Riches turned out to be useful on turf, who would have won out of her and Ouija Board???

Miss Andretti is an impressive broad. Caught two of her races.

I'm as electrified by RTR as anyone else, but against Ouija Board on the grass, no fricking way.

brockguy 06-12-2007 05:50 AM

yeah, Pride is retired and in foal to that German sensational Stallion Monsun. She's 7. Miss Andretti is technically a mare too, she's 6 but I wanted to keep the subject title down.. It's going to be a fascinating week next week..

They will never run her on grass anyway.....

Though the Jazil turf expierment went really well!

NoChanceToDance 06-12-2007 07:01 AM

I know Pride is retired now, and Ofcourse, Ouija Board is, too...... but we were just suggesting a "what if" question.

Just imagine if we could have seen Rags, Pride and Ouija Board in the same race........ that would have been truly great.

Maybe one day, their their sons or daughters ma get to take eachother on. We can at least dream.
