Prospective Stephen Foster Field

Einstein, Master Command, Magna Graduate, Wanderin Boy, Wiggins, and Diamond Stripes.

Did the race lose it's Grade I status and $750,000 purse while I wasn't paying attention?

Diamond Stripes is a potential monster.

Funny Diamond Stripes name came up, I was just wondering why he wasn't running in the Birdstone this Sat.

Horses from that barn either run every two days or every two months.

Or so it seems.

Diamond Stripes is a very serious horse. I think there's a good chance he makes his presense felt in the big races all year. We've talked about it here before but his win in the Meadowlands race last fall was gigantic. I suggest people watch a replay of that race ( I think it was October 6th ).

Was he the Frankel horse who finished second with a perfect trip in the Meadowlands race?

If so, he's probably looking for a spot to scratch out of.

I thought the Kip Deville doubleheader was the dumbest thing from a trainer ( outside of Jamie Sanders) I've seen.

What was the official Beyer on that race?

I didn't get a super number for it, but it's been an awfully productive race. The aforementioned Diamond Stripes ran a huge race at AQU, Hesanoldsalt obviously has gotten very good, Gottcha Gold ran 2nd in a stake at MTH the other day, and Fairbanks won a G2 in California.

The most 'accomplished' runner coming into the race (from a perspective of owning a graded stakes win), High Cotton, has done nothing since being beaten 22 lengths.
