Cavs

They are 750 to the 100 to take the lead into the half. Does anyone else think thats a really good bet?

I wonder what the dead space could mean?

Truthfully I dont see how betting on NBA scores is fruitful. Seems very random thing so I really cant say. Sorry. Because I would say if I had a handle on this type of wagering.

I will say that I think the Spurs can win with a high score or low score more easily than Cleveland. Spurs can go on offensive runs or grind it out.

But a halftime lead... man thats so tough because neither of the teams I think are terribly concerned about leading at halftime. I would think both teams just want it close. The Spurs are back in the 4th quarter mode. Play as tough as possible thru 3 quarters without panic, and then win it after wearing the other team down. Popovich's "dont be in a hurry to win" has kicked in. I think Cleveland has shown the same patience in this reguard. All those close games with Detroit gave them a lot of confidence they can wear a team out also.

It's an exceptionally good bet, if you can get that number.

SA is -7.5 for the game, which translates into -4 for the half. A halftime line of Cleve +4 translates into something like Cleve Pick +240 or so.

The Bid 06-07-2007 11:56 AM

I got that number and made the bet.

I agree anyone can lead at the half of an NBA game which is what made it a solid bet for me. I have 500 the Cavs take the lead into the half, lets wait and see how it turns out.

You certainly have the best of that wager.

Wait one minute. We have a person who does not pay up?
That is not good. Not good at all. Are we saying THe Bid did not pay up on a bet?

pgardn 06-07-2007 11:26 PM

Pure and simple Chicken sh it.

How can any self-respecting person come back on a board after pulling that kind of crap. Sorry Bid, but I would have done what is right and you did not. And then you go off making other wagers. Thats just total BS. Carry through with your obligations.

Cant stand liars and cheats. Damn that hacks me off. Off to bed before I explode. Cant stand low life.

The Bid 06-08-2007 06:09 AM

Im hardly trying to welch the guys 100 dollar bet, Im just not around to pay it. He can send a mailing address or come up to the Gold room at Churchill and get it when Im back in Kentucky.

PG before you go off on a tangent on what a lowlife I am you should have a general idea what kind of guy I am.

You are talking to me like Im some guy with a hole in his shoe down on the bricks.

The Bid 06-08-2007 07:18 AM

So your list of priorities is making bets on NBA games, and not fullfilling obligations. That pretty much stinks. Get around to it... I would feel guilty as hell not taking care of what I owe. But I guess that is not a priority with some.

Where have basic honesty and integrity gone... honest to Pete. Sux big time.
End of story. Im done.
