Not a bad pick, Jerry.
I'm going with Curlin.
Heck, what do I know?
I used to hear the announcer say, "The jockey has the big stallion in hand",
and I'd look all around the track to see one of those little guys in the fancy bowling shirts running like crazy alongside a horse.
Anyway, good luck.
I can't wait until Rags retires and becomes a broodmare. If I owned her, I'd name the first foal Tampaxrules.

Let's just chalk it up to the headless horseman...Seattle, you just helped me more than I ever thought you could...

SentToStud 06-05-2007 02:39 PM

I know a guy from back from my Hazel/DRC days. This guy was the ultimate bad luck charm and was known as The Black Cloud or, more informally, The Cloud.

The Cloud turned blue skies gray, wine into water and the best looking woman you ever saw into a transvestite.

Don't know what brought The Cloud to mind.

tycharles01 06-05-2007 02:52 PM

Seattle your sure you don't like Curlin more????

Weel at least we know Rags to Riches wont win!!!!!!!!

She has no chance now that she has been cursed. Most of Seattle's picks are never the same, they are alot like Sinister Minister after the Blue Grass

The stop has been applied.

Antitrust32 06-05-2007 03:31 PM

I really wish you wouldnt have done that seattle. :( :(

I guess seattle's jinx has to be wrong sometime.. :(

tycharles01 06-05-2007 03:41 PM

Seattle could pick a horse that had not lost in 10 yrs, was going off at 1/9, and it was a 3 horse field.

The horse would then run 3rd!!!!!!!!

pmacdaddy 06-05-2007 03:53 PM

Poor girl, probably had a shot too...

Downthestretch55 06-05-2007 03:54 PM

Seattle,
Don't let these "nay sayers" put a bit of doubt in your mind.
Heck, I like you putting your picks up. It takes the heat away from mine.
Look at what I had to go through when I picked Corinthian in the Met Mile.
There was only Meramag that thanked me, but I gave her others in the past.
Sometimes, there's not a lot of appreciation.
So take the "jibes".
Even a blind monkey throwing darts hits a bulls-eye once in a while.
I'll just say that I think Rags is up against it. I also have no support for Hard Spun.
I'll take a good long look at the undercard and post my picks. Seems there's better value there imho.
So, keep putting your picks up. Seems that this board is all about it, and the disagreers do so all in good humor.

Also, watch carefully when you hear "The jockey has him in hand."

be advised, the cooler has spoken.
