Media circus....the poor correctional officers and staff must be hating life about now! Paris won't be a problem but having a mike stuck in your face everyday and knowing if you're even overheard making a comment about her it will appear on Entertainment Tonight...I'd be in a less than cordial mood!

Poor poor little rich girl.

I agree with you about the correctional officers, but at least her cellmate will get a book deal.

It appears Paris was in the audience...now I understand that with fame comes some of this stuff but surely this woman could have been a bit more creative with her jokes. Does Paris deserve to be held accountable for her behavior? Sure! But does she deserve that?

Well she is known for that homemade porno...

I mean the script practically writes itself!

Perhaps:

"Doing Hard time with Paris"

or

"Paris learns the Penal system"

Redd Foxx?

I saw him live a couple times and he is no doubt the "dirtiest" act I ever saw. Rudy Ray Moore was a close second.

He was all that...but he was also hilarious!

You're missing the point...whether Paris can laugh at herself or not is hardly justification for using someone's misfortune/sadness/pain (whether you think deserved or not) to mock them! Paris is responsible for her behavior, we each are responsible for ours...good natured kidding is one thing, those remarks were vicious and in a public forum with her there to endure same were/are grotesque!

I suggest turning it off it it's grotesque to you...it's Sarah Silverman and most people are familiar with her style...Paris invited it by being there and making a big deal out of going to jail to begin with.

I agree with you. Humour is fine but it appeared inappropriate to me, the wrong setting with her sitting right there.

somerfrost 06-04-2007 07:15 PM

One guy tells me to turn it off and the next says I get old...well, news flash!! This is me, this is how I think! I've posted here and at ESPN for over 10 years so everybody knows how I think...if I get old, skip my posts! You get tired of reading things you don't like...don't read what I write! Freedom of speech works both ways and frankly..I don't give a damn if I annoy you! Making fun of people when they are vunerable is disgusting...you enjoy it, well...I've made it clear what I think about that! Apparently I'm not the only one who found it somewhat inappropriate!

That jail will tighten her up a little. Jail is a great experience for anybody with the attitude that Paris has
