This does not make any sense to me
I'm a sports fan.
If I want to see the lifetime stats of Ted Williams I can Google his name or go to baseball-reference and see what he did in every season of his career. Pretty easy. In some cases I can find individual games of his 2000-plus games. But if I wanted to see the lifetime record, yearly stats etc. of Dr. Fager...I have to pay for it? Is is because no one has taken the time to set up a "horse-reference" site? Is it because these data collection companies don't want to "give it away?" Just seems a little backward to me. Why not allow people to see how the great ones ran? And not just the great ones - any horse not currently running. And if I'm misinformed and there is a site or reference for seeing the stats of some of the great ones, I love a heads up. </rant> |
For starters, try - http://www.spiletta.com/UTHOF/index.html

If you go to Pedigree Query, it's got some decent records for the greats, but no times or speed figures or any of that.
