Didn't Deputy Glitters win this race last year?
Whatever happened to him after that?

sumitas 05-29-2007 03:05 PM

see MNR Memorial Day H. thread.

I am leaning towards Sedgefield and Moyer's Pond in this one. Will wait for pp's to make concrete decision. Moyer's Pond looks to be on the improve, loved his rail surge(I think) in his last.

Now we're talkin'.

Let's get ready for the Run For The Thistleys.

Not a horrible field considering the inexplicable decision to move it to the first weekend in June when they had a nice spot in mid-July last year. Happened to be in Cleveland for the weekend and saw a nice race between Glitters, High Cotton, and Flashy Bull.

Without the PP's, Moyer's Pond ran awfully well to be 2nd at LS last out...

Yeah, that doesn't make much sense to me either.

That is pretty weird. I haven't thought about this horse in 10 months, then I ask about him in this thread only to discover that there is a thread about him right now on page one!
How strange and uninteresting.

Coach Pants 05-29-2007 03:17 PM

Horrible decision to move this race the week before the Belmont.

Sedgefield is an obvious contender and should be short odds.

Mortimer 05-29-2007 03:19 PM

I guess that doesn't make sense to him either.

cmorioles 05-29-2007 03:31 PM

Unlike most other sports in Cleveland, we know there will be at least one winner.

Danzig 05-29-2007 03:39 PM

sedgefield a possibility for the third jewel...but if he runs here, he's my choice.
