I liked this one... this is why he's paid the big bucks. Cauthen could easily be hired by one of the polytrack companies.

"Who knows? In a few years they could be spreading in popularity, just like Polytrack.”

Spendabuck85 05-22-2007 05:50 PM

My guess is that most of the NY politicians involved don't even know who these jockeys are.

MisterB 05-22-2007 06:25 PM

Why in the hell do they think this can help.

Coach Pants 05-22-2007 06:31 PM

Empire should get Verne Troyer.

What is it with the cheap shots? Is your life so pathetic that you find it necessary to belittle me in order to face yourself?

fpsoxfan 05-22-2007 06:39 PM

NYRA should get Filberto Leon. He's the man!

I like it. I think you're on to something there.

Maybe ... sprinting mules?

whodey17 05-22-2007 06:55 PM

Does anyone know when the state might be making a decision?

"God this is the dumbest idea ever. Hell...even throat would be better than these clowns."

Retort.

"Uh what? I like you, guy. Oh poor me the victim. Good luck."

From coverage of April's bidders' presentations. Tedisco is on the state panel considering the bids.

"He's (Bailey) the guy, that if you want to put two bucks on somebody or a franchise on somebody's back, you can trust him because of his past record and his integrity and ability," said Assembly Minority Leader James Tedisco, R-Schenectady, whose district includes Saratoga Springs. "He added a tremendous amount to this group."
