Top 3 Derby horses
 

The normal result happened yesterday. The top 3 derby horses finished ahead of the rest. It was such an easy trifecta. So how did I miss it. I was hoping that the perceived track bias would help Hard Spun. I never invisioned a 22 and something first qtr. I guess if it took 6 weeks to get ready for the Derby - 2 weeks isn't enough for the Preakness. He looked warm in the post parade.

I knew that 17 yrs ago Unbridled ran 2nd in the Preakness was really surprised/disappointed that Curlin was able to nip SS at the wire. What a big strong horse as opposed to Circular Quay
