Einstein - INTO THE GROUND

Trying to ruin this horse. Don't want to here that he hated the track yadda yadda, he has run two huge races, subpar last at CHD, and now they come back on 14 days rest....Complete play against

hoovesupsideyourhead 05-16-2007 04:48 PM

is this another of your super mushes..:D

I am far from a super mush, all you have to know is that Bejarano jumped. Bej rode him last time right?

The Indomitable DrugS 05-16-2007 04:50 PM

He finished behind Better Talk Now's rabbit last time out....albeit over a soft course.

If he runs back to his race 2 back, which came over the peculiar Fair Grounds turf course, he'll win easily.

It would be impossible to not use him in multi-win exotics---but, I'm still a little bitter that both he and BTN ran horrible in the Woodford Reserve...costing me both a P3 and a P4.

he may have ...i just recall some thread like this that came back and bite you..but hey its good to talk about

Scav 05-16-2007 04:50 PM

I am considering a large pick three wager with two horses/Salt/SS. Probably put two 6/1's on top or 7/1's and hope to get $20 per $1....Salt should be favored there, and I think he has run well over Pimilco, but I can't recall

Einstein is toasted. Byk will argue with me that turf horses don't react like dirt horses but those two races he ran this year are SUPER huge for turf races, and now he comes back in 14 days, ludicious. if it is true that Bejarano jumped, that is all I need to know

golfer 05-16-2007 04:55 PM

Albarado was on him last time. I was going to ask about this horse, Steve's reply was to my original question. He had 7 weeks rest coming into the Derby Day race, certainly didn't do much running that day... so is he "toast" like you believe, or did he just not like the surface, or some other excuse 2 weeks ago?

tiznowthegreat 05-16-2007 05:00 PM

Theres 6 or 7 horses running back 2 weeks after Derby weekend at Churchill. I think all of them are trained by Lukas or Pitts, except for Unbridled Sidney.

ateamstupid 05-16-2007 05:11 PM

So it's not possible that he just hated the wet grass, and the connections are wheeling him back because he's still ready to run a big race on firm ground? It's automatically him being "run into the ground"? Talk about overreacting..

hoovesupsideyourhead 05-16-2007 05:16 PM

scav a thought you were taking a break..hmmmmm...and of any of those id toss is woodlander

Danzig 05-16-2007 05:47 PM

was it angara that ran two races a week apart a couple years ago, won the second easily--oh, she had won the week before as well..

TheSpyder 05-16-2007 05:59 PM

I like him in this race. Obviously didn;t take a lot out of him in the Woodford and they think he's sitting on a big race. Why do you think he's not well suited?

Spyder

he has run well over that type of surface before...

golfer 05-16-2007 06:13 PM

Scav, the 2 HUGE #'s were run on Feb 24th, then March 10th, 2 weeks apart.

He's run well over the May 5th, 2007 Churchill Downs yielding turf before? Not all wet grass is the same dude.

Another reason is Albarado, not gonna happen.

ArlJim78 05-16-2007 06:25 PM

scav, i think your break wasn't long enough.
not a place for a strong opinion/heavy play.

Cannon Shell 05-16-2007 06:57 PM

I hope Penna scratches Remarkable News because he is toast from out there. He ran well last time despite a bizzare ride from Douglas. I was really looking forward to betting him next out but I am very skepitical about this race.
Einstein is a toss out IMO.
