anyone got a santos update
 

..hmmm..ill bet his kid is still crying...hope he gets back up n the saddle..

His kid hasn't stopped crying since Funny Cide lost the Belmont...

All kidding aside, I hope Jose is recovering comfortably somewhere.

Hope Santos is doing OK.

Jose jr. is a nice kid.

I think I read in DRF recently that Jose's rehab isn't going great and his future is up in the air. He's had some pretty tough luck.

Poor kid. Looks like he'll be too big to be a jockey. Probably will end up a TVG analyst.

I hope Jose makes it back. I always liked him, no matter how often he strangled his horses on the front end.
IF he makes it back from injury, and IF they put him back on Funny Cide......and he wins...........well, that will be a real Seabiscuit/Pollard-type moment won't it?

I spoke with Jose and he is feeling much better and he is in good spirits.
