Norberto Arroyo

Anybody catch his performance in the last 100 yards of the second race?

Coach Pants 05-05-2007 06:52 PM

Was he on the 2? I mentioned that in another thread.

No, did you see the jock get thrown from the first. I nearly threw up. F ing birds on the track and the horse acted like the Grand Canyon was in front of him.

I wasn't involved ( or at least the horses I bet were no longer involved ) but that was an absolute outrage.

Yes, Randall, I gave him out on Steve's show and bet $200 on him.

Didn't know that, had 150 myself. He inhaled them. That was a first for me, but that's racing. You move on.

unfortunately not the first time this kind of sh*t has happened. I only played a pick 3 starting with that race (not using the 2) but for anyone that had the 2 underneath for the exacta has every right to be livid.

The guy should be barred from the track. His record speaks for itself.

I believe Andy may have a comment on this as he gave out the horse (Al Basha) on DT Live this morning.

blackthroatedwind 05-05-2007 07:01 PM

It's a complete disregard for the bettors and the connections of the horse.

Honestly, if you needed him for second ( beaten a nose ) it was as bad a beat as betting the horse who's rider fell off in the first.

Guess I type too slow, maybe I should learn to use more than two fingers.

We drove into the parking lot at 12:59, I had already made my bets, and heard the call as we were walking in. As we got near the entrance I heard Johnny I calling Al Basra clearing to the lead and then there was the sickening roar of some incident.

I had a feeling it wasn't going to be good news.
