The commercial they keep playing on HRTV.

Murray Smith Graduates

you all should be glad you get to see an older lady as hot as Murry Smith on HRTV...seriously she is a MAJOR player in the pinhooking business

I hear ya...

I've seen it a thousand times this winter.....

It starts with Durkin, sounding constipated, yelling "Smoke Glacken wins the Hopeful by 7 devastating lengths" and than it's Colemus (sp?) with "Joe Bravo and Exchanger have just won the Sapling." Followed by a bunch of bad music...and a logo of lipstick marks keeps popping up.

No arguments there, she has done really well.

My gripe is with either the director of the commercial or the producer at HRTV who keeps looping that dreaded thing over and over during the breaks.

It is almost as bad as the infomercial about why we run on dirt tracks where it looks like it is about 1992.

She's a major consignor of young bloodstock, and she's one of the best in the country. She had a fantastic year last year. She's so good that she even has her own little line of accessories that she distributes freely at the sales. How nice of her...

When I was at the Barretts Sale, I picked up one of her pens and chapstick. I like the chapstick, and the pen is one of those really cool ones that you don't see very often anymore that you can click one of four different colors. I love my Murray Smith pen...I actually left it at my friend's house last night. I must go retrieve it!

she may be a great person...I personally enjoy her and like her...but she's no saint...

For some insight into Murray Smith, read Joe Drape's "Road to the Triple Crown" and JD Squire;s book "A Horse of A Different Color".

As someone else mentioned, she's a major pinhooker and was responsible for "discovering" Monarchos.

Talent aside, she desperately needs a new logo. It's cheesy, stodgy and not at all in line with her stature.
