The winner will be????

Without maming names. Will the winner be one of the true contenders that proves they can get the distance?A horse that freeks and runs the race of his life? One that has the race fall in his lap because of trouble encountered by the rest? One that gets the perfect trip? IMO. The winner will probably have more than one of the scenarios and will prove to be a worthy winner with several more wins this year. So help me I still over half of the field as probables with solid chances for the win. I so often try to apply logic and make a horse a contender when there are no sigms that point to a win. This year I see more possible winners that could be nice cashers and long odds and they would be no suprise.

The winner will be the horse coming out of the 9 hole.

We should actually start a thread for each derby horse after they post draw so we can get everyone's feelings on each horse. :)

Does the Tarot cards say the same as your dreams? Have you had more than one dream about the derby, if so are they all the same?

I had my first Derby Dream this past weekend, it was a photo finish with about five horses... the two names I heard for the exacta were Cowtown Cat and Sam P. -- I remember thinking in my dream, "Sam P.? Sam P.? That can't be right."

I hope that's not right... but I'm playing it just in case

Hilarious... same reason I'm playing whichever horse comes out of the 9 hole. I'd shoot myself if that horse won and I didn't play it after I dreamt about it. :o

That's good to know. I hate those tracks where the exotics pay in lawn furniture, batteries, or arcade tokens.
But yes, the Derby typically has some huge payoffs for exotics, and this year is wide open enough that it should be the same.

I guess you find my posts somewhat "strange"

What you pointed out in your reply...is what I was trying to point out.

Thanks for the help! :)

Triple H,
These are egg sighting times.
Heck, I've already fired up the habachi. The living room is getting a bit smokey but if I open some windows, things might clear by Saturday.

What the heck? Where are all those sirens coming from? Why is there a pumper truck on my front lawn?
To be continued......
