Cirque Du Soleil

So yeah... the topic somehow gets brought up while watching the NFL Draft today... I can't remember why/how, but I talk about it. I like the stuff. Seen their Corteo show whenit toured Minneapolis in late '05, and watched them on Bravo when they're on. The guys I was with wanted me to turn in my "man card" lol, which I guess I can't blame them for. But these people do so much crazy acrobatic and contortionist-type stuff... amazing. What do you guys think of it? And if you've never seen it before, here's a run-of-the-mill introduction:

I've been a couple of times... it's really cool! I wish I had that kind of talent. We can go if you ever come down here. :)

AWWWW Thanks. I'm prolly gonna take you up on that one o' these days... in '09 lol.

For all of you Vegas-goers on here, you should seriously check out one of the 10 different Cirque shows they have out there. They even have 1 that is very adult oriented I hear hehe...

Been to 4 different shows. One in Vegas, one in Biloxi, one in Orlando and one of the tours last year in St. Pete. Took my 5 year old to the one in St. Pete and she was awestruck.

What's really wierd is that we have a DVD of Allegria (the show we saw in Biloxi) and my kids wanted to see it today (for the first time in about 6 months), so we watched it and now I see this thread....spooky.

Yeah,
With the link I posted at the bginning of this thread regarding the girl in the clip, I've definately had some deviant thoughts hehehe

pmay, my first time out to Vegas when I was about 11 I went to the cirq show. I am going out there on Tuesday now for my B-day, and I am actually going to go see the show "O', which looks like it should be a good one. I love sports and think of myself as a big man, but this **** is pretty cool.

a bit off subject but we saw "The Producers" at paris and "Phantom" at the venetian, just 2 weeks ago.
Phantom, i'm glad we went, don't think we'd go again.
Producers, was a scream! we would go see it again.

if you want to see a "show girls", go see Jubilee at bally's. take the backstage tour in the morning. we'd diffenently do both again.

I've never heard of this one before, but it's coming to St. Paul in October. Corteo was a blast when that came, so tickets: BOUGHT!
