Speaking of "fixed"...I'm really happy my cat is. Man alive, have you ever been around a kitty that had her hormones ragin'? Not pretty!!!!!

Tony Stewart is the ultimate NASCAR guy. Pure redneck, he don't GAF what people think. Cool dude.

timmgirvan 04-26-2007 06:51 PM

How would you "fix' a race like that?

2 Dollar Bill 04-27-2007 03:42 PM

Tony is one of the nicest and most upfront guys in the garage...

BUT...

He's not a pure redneck.

I dont watch NASCAR. Too many black folk in the stands.

i don't understand why nascar got ticked--they pretty much admitted when they let one-two race to the checker at daytona that it was to make things exciting. they aren't consistent in their rulings, which means they judge similar scenarios and make a decision, rather than being consistent at all times. he's right. it's not so much fixing, as meddling. and i think they meddle more, or less, depending on what's going on at the particular time. just like when they throw a red flag rather than a yellow.

well they want to keep as many cars on the lead lap as possible and bunch up the feild so they can have close racing and finishes. otherwise people won't watch. like mark martin said one week end he didn't race he was at home and watching and went to sleep. cause it was at a time when the racing was going green for a long time. and this man drove in nascar for years. and still does part time now.

Biggest cheater (that gets away with it) in NASCAR. Saw a sign a fan had made in Daytona in February on our way back into the infield... it said:

F.A.G.: FANS AGAINST GORDON. Couldn't be more true!

While I'm not a huge fan of nascar, I do keep up with it to a point and am a fan of Stewart and this week, he proved to me again why I am a fan. He is the guy that says whatever is on his mind and to hell with the good ole boy network. Now I don't know about fixing races, but there have been a few very questionable yellow flags and one non yellow flag. I think Mark Martin should be Stewart's biggest fan.
