Keeneland Race 3

What the heck were the jockeys doing????? Both jocks, Elvis and Kent stood up on their mounts 20-30 yards from the line. I think Elvis got confused when he went by the finish line and Kent followed suit.

that should make the owners happy

This seems like an appropriate time for " they don't call 'em pinheads for nuttin ".

Is that the 6th win in the last 7 races when McLaughlin uses Trujilo? Unreal.

MaTH716 04-26-2007 02:19 PM

I couldn't believe my eyes. Should there be a Fine/Suspension? If so, how long and how much?

Cajungator26 04-26-2007 02:20 PM

Can't wait to watch the replay later... he almost blew it for Lear's Princess.

I'm guessing 5k

Scav 04-26-2007 02:23 PM

So did Lear Princess win because of this?

Would she he won if they didn't do the above I guess is what I am asking

No... she won, but if Desormeaux hadn't followed suit, Trujillo would have lost the race for her.

i hate to be a bit*&, BUT I got ALL of Kent D. today that anyone could possibly handle....first race 3 when he is UNAWARE where the finish line is located for a 7/8th's race at KEE (I bet on him)...then when he RODE Dale's horse like Ray Charles to get beat in the maiden race (I bet on him)....THEN he looks like P Val reincarnated in the feature to milk the last drop out of Graham Motions horse (I DIDN'T BET ON HIM)

Ditto here. The one fughkin race I didn't land on his mount he actually trys to WIN the race. What a concept!!!!!

I guess after his early blunders, Desormeaux managed to wi the graded stake race by a lip and paid $54.20

I believe he was the only major rider in the country to show a flat bet profit last year---and he did so inspite of the fact that he butchers rides more frequently than the average rider.

Notice he does this shiit the day before the meet ends, so he can't be suspended. He is the biggest crook since pat Day. Whoops!

ArlJim78 04-26-2007 07:07 PM

He has been dynamite at this meet, made the most of every mount.

Bigsmc 04-26-2007 07:16 PM

You have to go to Equibase and read the chart for the race some of the best comedy writing since Seinfeld.

"At that point, the rider misjudged the finish line, rose prematurely, then, when the rider of MS. SABBATICAL also misjudged the wire and rose in the saddle, earned the nod on the wire while galloping out."

You can't make this crap up. The horse won a photo "while galloping out".

Kent Desormeaux is cool with me.
