My buddy found this behind his grill yesterday!!!

Attachment 366

Kinda hard to tell, since I had to size it down, but it's a big a$$ed Black Widow!!

Spiders themselves don't really scare me, but if they are bigger than a quarter, look out!

I hear ya, but my G-pa got bit by one years ago before I was born, it almost killed him. Crawled in his bed! If it's in front of you and you see it, yeah, smash the hell out of it, but still, that's a big MF-er!

we have wolf spiders down here that make that look small--no joke, we saw one that was bigger than a dessert plate. joker was huuuuge. but yeah, it's the ones you don't see....
then there's the brown recluse.
that's what cracked me up when i watched the movie arachnaphobia, when john goodman smashed the one with his foot.

well, you certainly don't have to worry about a bear hiding in a shoe, or under the covers of your bed!

Black widows are all over the place down here... I got used to seeing them in the barn and very lucky I didn't get nailed by one.

I've seen these at the barn a few times too:

My prey never knows I'm there.
