Thursday at Belmont

4 turf sprints in a row ;)

2 going 6F and 2 going 7F.

Looks like a sick day for Gander

I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who handicaps a ridiculous amount of days in advance..

Getting to work on Thursday's card at CD tonight..

Those things are awful, I wish they would ban them...

No handicapping as the form isnt out, but just checking race entries in advance. I have never seen anything like Thursday's card anywhere- 4 turf sprints in consecutive races.

1st time I went 2 days in advance for last Saturday and kicked ass. Definately will be doing that from now on. I guess two days would not be that much, but I put in about 6-7 hours total. That's terrible. If I would have studied in school like that, I'd would a gone to Harvard, lol. BTW Ateam, do you work the CD card the most?

I think you need to start buying your pps on line.

But, on the subject of this thread, considering the current weather, sadly I would not be too optimistic about turf racing on Thursday.

Yeah, I try to stick to one circuit, and right now, I'm handicapping CD. I wanted to try a couple shots at Bel this week and past weekend, but the rain is ruining that. Hol is too weird of a track to me, so I play CD almost by default.

However, now I see there's a chance of T-storms in Louisville on Thursday, so I might get desperate and do something drastic like handicap Cnl..

I always loved grass racing..

It seems to me, and I could be wrong, that CD runs pretty true to form. It's the only track I ever play. I will probably never see the BIG ONE, but I can win money some days and not lose too much on the others. I would like to start capping Belmont to see how I'd do. I seem to do ok picking winners on the days we do the Challenge for fun. I'll keep you posted on the weather too. It does look like possible t-storms throughout the week. But it would have to hit right at race time pretty much. CD seems to handle water and drain very well. We had a big shower roll through last Friday and it helped the track. It was begining to get a little hard.
