SEDGEFIELD: Will Contest Derby
Darrin Miller told Steve Haskin yesterday that barring unforeseen circumstances, Sedgefield, the full brother of English Channel, will join stablemate Dominican in the starting gate for Derby 133...

I think a lot of us remember seeing him run second in the Tropical Park Derby and the Lanes End and saying to ourselves, "Wow! That is the Derby winner right there!!"
Even money that Kev puts some $$$ on him?
good plan

Am I right in thinking that this will be the horse's debut on a REAL dirt surface? How ridiculous.
I always think it's a smart idea to run an obvious turf horse in the Kentucky Derby.
Longest shot on the board? Or will that distinction go to Storm in May or I'mawildandcrazyguy?
awesome, one more entrant I can toss.
Exactly. One more throwout sounds good to me. I have no idea what to make of Chelokee, so I'd be just fine with some of these turds nudging him out of the gate.
Well, I guess I am with you guys there.
As a fan of the sport....I wish this horse wasn't in here. As a handicapper that hopes to make some money on the race however, I suppose I appreciate him being in. |
