After watching, Cowtown Cat and Scat Daddy were really impressive and Tiago came from nowhere...closed a good 15 lengths! Curlin hand ridden, Nobiz fought gamely...this will depend on post positions!

Can't understand why Great Hunter was the only one(of the contenders) without a kick to the wire it wasn't like those fractions taxed anyone. There was a race earlier on the card where the front runners actually held on. I believe they set real fractions and not Teuflesberg type fractions

Curlin can only race against the horses on the track. Not his fault the race was weak. Does Oaklawn still offer a bonus for winning the Arkansas Derby and the Kentucky Derby?

no, that was a one-time deal for their 100th anniversary. you know that cella was going to pay it all out of his pocket that year if smarty won--til he saw smarty work at churchill. that's when he called the ins co to cover half if they had to pay out.
